Everton finally got their man over the summer as Marco Silva joined the club after being heavily courted by The Toffees last year.
Despite signing some high calibre players in Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina, Everton have had a fairly stop-start season and as it stands, they currently sit ninth in the table.
At the back, they’ve looked more solid, while going forward they’ve scored 19 goals despite not having a top-class forward in their ranks.
Over the last few weeks, Marco Silva has chosen to play summer signing, Richarlison as the out and out striker and the Brazilian looks as though he could turn out to be the club’s best option through the middle.
With him now as the striker, it leaves a spot on the wing open and with that in mind, Everton have been linked with a move for Benfica man, Andrija Zivkovic.
The Breakdown
Highly rated during his time with Partizan Belgrade, Zivkovic made the move to Benfica two years ago and as of yet, hasn’t lived up to his vast potential in Lisbon.
Going forward, he has immense talent and is definitely capable of scoring double digits in goals and assists. At 22, he still has time to deliver on his talent and a move to the Premier League may just be what he needs to bring out his huge talent.
Valued at just £16.2 million, he might just be the next piece of the jigsaw that Silva needs to take Everton back into the Europa league again.
