West Ham United could only manage a draw at home to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Tuesday night but there were still positives to take from the match for supporters.
Having suffered defeat in the FA Cup at the weekend, it was important for the Hammers not to lose and the point earned against the Eagles sees them move up to 10th position in the league table.
The visitors actually went ahead in the match thanks to Christian Benteke, but a Mark Noble penalty salvaged the draw, leaving fans mostly content.
Central to the performance was Javier Hernandez, who looked much brighter compared to recent form that has left many supporters questioning his future at the club.
While he didn’t find the back of the net, he won the penalty that Noble converted and the Mexican will now be hoping to build on the five goals he has scored so far this season.
Fans took to Twitter to discuss his performance…
