Loads of West Ham fans have been discussing a swoop for Celtic’s Olivier Ntcham, after the Hammers sold Cheikhou Kouyate to Crystal Palace.
According to L’Equipe (via GFFN), West Ham have made an enquiry about Celtic’s promising French midfielder, who scored in their Champions League qualifier last week.
The report claims the Hammers have simply asked how much it would cost to sign the 22 year-old, as they are now expected to sign a new central midfielder.

Kouyate joined Palace on Wednesday, and Pedro Obiang is being constantly linked with moves away, so it’s perhaps no surprise to see the Hammers eyeing up Celtic’s promising young midfield machine.
Ntcham grabbed nine goals and six assists last season as a 21 year-old, and his ability to arrive late and cap off attacks with an empathic finish will remind East London of Frank Lampard.
Pellegrini has added bags of pace, flair and creativity in wide areas this summer, but he simply must reinforce his midfield, and the overwhelming majority of fans think Ntcham would be a good place to start.
